The usual composition of propolis depends on the region and type of plants. The typical elements of propolis are flavonoids, waxes, fatty acids, essential oils, pollen, other organics and minerals.

The most widely known properties of propolis are its antibacterial and antifungal activities.

Propolis is listed as a diet supplement in Korea due to its natural antibacterial and antioxidant functions.

PIF Propolis-S is designed to enhance the condition of sows and piglets so that those livestock can have a strong immune system and lessen the negative effect of stress. PIF Propolis-S contains several chelated minerals, especially chromium content is 600ppb/feed kg. With enough organic chromium, the quality of the carcass as well as the number of pigs born live per litter has improved.
